Among the five pillars of Islam, the place of prayer is above all. Prayers are an important act of worship. Through which one can attain nearness to Allah. Allah says, when a believer stands in prayer and recites the Qur'an, I answer his every word.
Allah Ta'ala says in the Holy Qur'an: "Prayer is the Me'raj for the believers.
He added: "Surely prayer forbids indecency and evil deeds."

The first prayers will be taken into account on the Day of Resurrection. Because prayer is an act of worship through which the servant acknowledges the gratitude of his Lord. Therefore, the importance of prayer is immense. In order to perform the prayers properly, some rules have to be followed. What are the provisions of prayers discussed below:


Obligation of prayers:

There are 14 obligatory prayers outside and before the start of the prayers and after the start of the prayers.

Before the prayers began, there were seven outside duties-

1.Purification of the body: The first thing that is necessary for the performance of prayers is that the body must be pure. If necessary, aju or tayammum should be done.

2. Clothes should be clean: The clothes worn should be pure, otherwise there will be no prayers. The one performing the prayers will be a sinner.

3. The place of prayers is sacred: The place where the prayers will be performed or the place of prayer will be holy.

4.Body cover: In case of men, the body should be covered from the navel to the bottom of the knee. For women, the whole body should be covered except the wrists of both hands, both legs and face.

5.Standing: It means standing facing the Qibla in prayer.

6.Pray according to the time: Allah says "Surely prayer is obligatory for the believers at the appointed time".

7.To make the intention: The intention of the time that will stand for the time of prayer must be done.


After the start of the prayers, there are six obligatory prayers-

1. Saying takbeer a tahrima: means starting the prayers by saying Allahu Akbar.

2. Doing Qiyam: It means standing up and praying.

3. It is obligatory to recite the Qur'an: in the first two rak'ats of the four rak'at prayers and in the obligatory, sunnat and nafal prayers.

4. Bowing: Bowing is obligatory in every prayer.

5. Prostration: It is obligatory to prostrate in every prayer.

6. Last meeting: Reading Tashahhud at the end of prayers and spending as much time as possible.



Obligatory of  prayer:

prayers 14  Obligatory-

1. Recitation of Surah Fatiha: It is  Obligatory to recite Surah Fatiha in every prayer.

2. Matching other Surahs with Surah Fatihah: It is Obligatory to recite any other Surah or verse with Surah Fatihah in the first two rak'aht of the Obligatory prayers and it is Obligatory to recite another Surah or verse with Surah Fatihah in every rak ' aht of the Obligatory, sunnat and nafal prayers.

3. Keeping the order of the prayers right: Tartib means keeping the continuity of all the deeds that come again and again in the prayers right.

4. First meeting: Four rak'ats and three rak'ats Features Sit in the amount of time it takes to complete the two rak'ats of the prayers and recite the Attahiyyatu.

5. Recitation of Attahiyyatu: It is obligatory to recite Attahiyyatu in both the sittings of prayers.

6. Recitation of the Qur'an aloud: It is obligatory to recite the Qur'an aloud in the prayers in which there is an instruction to recite the Qur'an aloud.

7. Recitation of the Qur'an secretly: It is obligatory to recite the Qur'an secretly in the prayers in which there is an instruction to recite the Qur'an secretly.

8. Performing the prayers slowly: Performing the prayers slowly [koshu-khoju].

9. Standing straight from ruku: Standing straight before going to sijdah at the end of ruku.

10. Sitting straight from sijdah: Sitting straight between two sijdahs.

11. Saying Salam: At the end of the prayer, say Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

12. Keeping the order correct: that is, maintaining the continuity of the prayers.

13. To recite  in Doa a Qunoot: To recite Qunoot in Obligatory prayers .

14. Saying takbeer in Eid prayers: Saying six additional takbeers in two Eid prayers.



Sunnat of prayers:


1. Called Azan and Iqamat.

2. Raising both hands while saying Allahu Akbar  takbeer a tahrima.

3. Keep the fingers of the hand normal while raising the hand.

4. Takbir is said aloud for the Imam.

5. Sanaa reading.

6. Read Aujubillah.

7. Read Bismillah.

8. Say Amen.

9. Sana reading, Auzubillah, Bismillah, Amin said in a low voice.

10. Holding the right hand over the left hand while restraining the hand.

11. Navel is for men, and for women it is a barrier on the chest.

12. Saying 'Allahu Akbar' while going from one Rokon to another Rokon.

13. Saying "Samiyallahuliman Hamida" and "Rabbana Lakal Hamd" while getting up from the ruku for the one who prays alone. Saying "Samiyallahuliman Hamida" for the Imam. And for the Followers to say "Rabbana Lakal Hamd".

14. Ruku is called "Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem".

15. Saying "Subhana Rabbiyal A'la" in prostration.

16. Hold both knees in a bow.

16. In Ruku, keep the fingers apart for men and keep them together for women.

16. When praying for a man, he should spread his left leg and sit on it, and keep his right leg upright and keep his fingers towards the qibla. For women keep both legs out to the right.

19. To recite Dorud Sharif after Tashahu in the last meeting.

20. Reading prayers after Dorode.

21. Shahadat [index finger] pointing to the Qibla with the finger while saying "La-ilaha illallah" in Tashahud.
